Language

The official language of the BIO-MECH’O conference is English.
Plenary sessions will be simultaneously translated to Italian.

Visas

International participants to the BIO-MECH’O conference may require visas in order to enter Italy.
Participants are requested to check with their consulate or diplomatic mission in their home country or with their travel agency for visa requirements. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.

Get to the venue

By Plane:

From Fiumicino Airport: take the shuttle Leonardo Express and get off at Termini Station. Take the underground A Line or Red Line and get off at Cornelia Station. Walk through Via Aurelia towards the outer side of Rome up to the hotel entrance on the right side, at the number 480.
From Ciampino Airport: take the direct bus to Termini Station. Then just follow the directions described above

By Train:

From Termini Station: Take the underground A Line or Red Line and get off at Cornelia Station. Walk through Via Aurelia towards the outer side of Rome up to the hotel entrance on the right side, at the number 480.

By Car:

Drive through Grande Raccordo Anulare and take the exit 1 Roma Aurelio in direction of the centre of Rome. Turn right to Via Aurelia in direction of Vatican City. At the level of Via Aurelia 480, turn left to enter the hotel parking on the left side.

City Transport:

Letter of Invitation

Upon request, the Secretariat of the BIO-MECH’O conference will send a personal invitation to participants.
This invitation is meant only to help visitors to raise travel funds or to obtain a visa, and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support. 

Clothing

Clothing is informal for all occasions at BIO-MECH’O 2014.

Climate

In September, we forecast that the weather in Rome is moderate and nice, with a minimum average temperature of about 20°C up to 25°C.

CME Credits

The BIO-MECH’O 2014 has applied for accreditation by the Italian Ministry of Health to provide the following CME activity for medical/paramedical specialists. AIROP is the provider in charge of the accreditation.

Liability

The Congress secretariat and Organisers cannot assume liability for personal accidents, loss of or damage to private property of participants, either during, or directly arising from the BIO-MECH’O 2014 Congress. Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.

Guest Attendance Policy

All event activities are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.
